Family Night

We had such a fun family home evening tonight, although we really didn't have a lesson or anything it was just nice to spend time together as a family and actually do something fun. We went up to a pond close to our house with some friends of ours the Lewis' and went fishing then BBQ'd hamburgers and roasted smores.

Brecken crashed after about 45 minutes- sometimes I just watch him sleep and only wish I could sleep that well. Oh the life of a baby; eat, sleep, poop and that's about it, sounds nice huh!

Mother's Day!

Well it was my very first Mother's Day today and it was wonderful! It was like having a second birthday except for celebrating the greatest blessing of being a mom. Everyday is such an adventure and I am loving every minute of it. I have changed so much the last few months; I feel like being a mom is what I was born to do, it feels so natural. I have never been happier, or more tired!


My sweet husband gave me this card that was from Brecken.
It says, "Thank you mom for all you do, you are the best mom. I heart U, Brecken" He really does not have that bad of hand writing he is trying to make it look like Brecken wrote it! I love him! He is so funny!


Poor baby; He has been sick with a cold and ear infection and he has still been so pleasant. He is such a sweetheart.

Brecken's Blessing

We blessed Brecken last sunday April 13th. It was so wonderful. Bryce did such a great job, the spirit was so strong. Brecken is lucky to have such a great dad. I am so proud of my husband, I love you so much honey. Everyone came back to our house for lunch after the blessing. It was a lot of fun. We are so greatful for all the people in our lives that support our family.

Brecken is just starting to smile and laugh, he is so cute. It is so much fun to try and get him to laugh. Bryce and I have our own ways to make him smile; If I stick my tongue out at him he just starts cracking up; And Bryce plays this game with him where he pretends to make Brecken run and he just loves it. He is such a happy baby and he makes his parents so happy too!

Brecken's Grandma Mitchell bought him this cute easter outfit. We had so much fun going to Bryce's parents house for dinner and then having an easter egg hunt in their back yard. Precious!

My family came up to visit this last week for spring break. We had so much fun. I love you guys i wish we lived closer. Hopefully someday we will move back to Arizona. I miss it so much!
